Lugana Ca Lojera is the perfect white elegant, fruity, perfectly balanced, delicious. Lugana is drunk by the gallon load by tourists on the shores of Garda lake but not often found in the UK. The wines that make it over here are either cheap and not too good or oak-aged intense wines which can be a bit too much. Ca Lojera produces their basic wine with no oak from very good quality fruit. Similar to a Sauvignon Blanc, it would certainly be a great alternative for a Sancerre lover.
 
 
 
Straw yellow with marked greenish shadings, it reached golden reflections by ageing. The fragrance of melon, tangerine and grapefruit with mint hints and some floral notes in the early stage. Savoury, fresh and mineral on the palate, of marked typicalness.
 
 
 
An ideal companion for pasta, pizza and risotto dishes, or enjoy it on it's own!
